Installation Procedure

1. Preparation
  • Ensure the equipment has a pre-drilled “E” hole sized to accommodate the mounting bolt and grommet assembly.
  • Verify that all components are clean and free from debris.
  • 2. Grommet Placement
    • Insert the Model VNG Isolation Grommet into the “E” hole of the equipment.
    •  Ensure the grommet is seated properly, with its flanges flush against the equipment surface

Suspended equipment requiring vibration isolation with specific static deflection performance, including both high- and low-frequency vibration control, shall be supported using hangers consisting of laterally stable springs combined with elastomeric bottom caps and mounted within welded steel brackets. 

The brackets shall be finished with a durable powder coating. Elastomer components shall be molded from oil-resistant materials and selected according to the published load ratings. The spring element shall maintain a minimum lateral stiffness equal to its rated vertical stiffness. Springs must be color-coded or otherwise marked to indicate load capacity.
Hanger brackets shall be capable of withstanding 1.5 times overload without failure and allow for threaded rod misalignment through a 30° arc without metal-to-metal contact. Isolation hangers shall be chosen by the manufacturer to meet the deflection criteria specified in the Vibration Isolation Schedule or project requirements.
VIBRO HANGER hangers are widely applied in lifting equipment and piping systems of varying sizes. With high damping, low natural frequency, simple installation, and effective reduction of structure-borne noise, they are suitable for suspended mounting of multiple types of equipment and piping.

With the use of lighter construction materials in modern offices, schools, and hospitals, only a small amount of vibration energy can create noticeable disturbances. VIBRO HANGER spring-and-rubber isolation hangers are engineered to deliver efficient vibration control for lighter suspended equipment. Proper loading of the spring is crucial to achieving the required natural frequency. VIBRO HANGER provides up to 1″ (25 mm) deflection for loads from 3 to 1500 kg.

Each hanger is equipped with a molded neoprene bottom cap, which keeps the spring securely in position, prevents short-circuiting from rod misalignment, and filters out high-frequency vibrations, such as those caused by fan blade movement. The hangers are shipped pre-assembled and designed for use with threaded rods up to 3/8″ (10 mm) in diameter.
