Recommended Layout:
Arrange Clips in a grid pattern at 600 mm x 1200m (24″48″)spacing. Ensure consistent alignment across the wall framing
STEEL FRAMING
Fixing Method:
- Secure each isolation clip firmly to the structural frame using suitable fasteners.
- Confirm that the metal insert/core is tightly seated against the framing member.
Installation Guide:
- Maintain a continuous horizontal row of clips across the wall.
- Feed 12 gauge hanger wire through the designated opening in the clip where required.
- For suspended systems, follow the ceiling/grid manufacturer’s installation

- Secure each isolation clip firmly to the structural frame using suitable fasteners.
- Confirm that the metal insert/core is tightly seated against the framing member.
WOOD OR STEEL FRAMIN
Support Capacity:
- Each clip is designed to carry a
maximum load of 36 lbs (16 kg)
Installation Guide:
- Attach the sound isolation clip to the ceiling structure using minimum two approved fasteners.
- Position clips within 200 mm (8″) of wall perimeters.
- Insert a 1/4″ threaded rod through the inner ring of the clip.
- Use a fender washer to distribute load evenly on the clip assembly
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Vibro L-Clip Model VLP-CS is intended for acoustic isolation only.Do not use for heavy load bearing applications.
- Apply acoustic sealant at all perimeters and joints to optimize sound insulation performance.
- When fixing to steel studs, ensure a minimum thickness of 20 gauge
